New Training Approaches, Optimizing Frontline Staffing Covered in Two New HR/TD Council White Papers

Credit unions can discover new approaches to training and how to achieve optimal frontline staffing levels at the point of member contact in two new white papers from the CUNA Human Resources, Training and Development (HR/TD) Council.

New Approaches to Training” tackles training challenges, new training ideas, and new twists to previously tried methods. Specifically, the four sections of this white paper cover: challenges to training and overcoming these challenges; new techniques/approaches to training; measuring performance improvement; and new approaches to management/leadership training. Sample training evaluations and quality service skills checklists are also included in the appendix.

The second new offering, “Frontline Staffing Challenges: Balancing Member Service Requirements with the Need for Operational Efficiencies,” examines the various factors that must be considered in determining optimal staffing levels for today’s branches in order to operate as efficiently as possible without sacrificing member service. The paper addresses a variety of frontline challenges in today’s market and outlines the strategies of several successful credit unions that achieve optimal staffing levels at the point of member contact.

CUNA Council members are entitled to complimentary copies of these white papers; non-members may purchase the white papers for a price of $50 per copy.

The papers are available online in the white paper section of each council site under the “HR/TD” tab.
